Building insurance claims, from initial assessment through reinstatement costing to scoping the works. Acting for policyholders and loss adjusters across the North West.
When a building is damaged by fire, flood, escape of water, storm, impact or subsidence, the insurance process needs a building surveyor at the centre of it. That's where we come in.
If you're the policyholder and your claim isn't being handled well, we can act on your behalf to set out the scope and cost of the loss properly, and engage with the loss adjuster on a like-for-like basis.
We have particular experience with listed buildings, heritage properties, and traditional construction. Reinstating these correctly takes care, and assumes the insurer will pay for it.
Early inspection while the evidence is fresh. Photographs, samples, witness records.
Reinstatement scope and costs prepared. Distinction between loss, wear and tear, and betterment.
Works specified, tendered if needed, and monitored through to practical completion.
Most jobs begin with a short phone call so we can understand what you need. There's no charge for that initial conversation, and we'll be honest about whether we're the right fit.
Pick up the phone, or send a few details through the contact form. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
