The Service
An insurance claim runs on evidence. The job is to assemble it cleanly so the loss is properly understood.

When a building is damaged by fire, flood, escape of water, storm, impact or subsidence, the insurance process needs a building surveyor at the centre of it. That's where we come in.

What we do.

  • Site inspections immediately after the event, photographs and condition records
  • Cause & origin opinions where the source of loss is in question
  • Reinstatement scope setting out the works required to return the building to its pre-loss condition
  • Reinstatement costing, including like-for-like and betterment analysis
  • Specifications & tender packs for the reinstatement works
  • Project monitoring through to completion, with progress reports to the insurer

Acting for policyholders.

If you're the policyholder and your claim isn't being handled well, we can act on your behalf to set out the scope and cost of the loss properly, and engage with the loss adjuster on a like-for-like basis.

Specialist building types

We have particular experience with listed buildings, heritage properties, and traditional construction. Reinstating these correctly takes care, and assumes the insurer will pay for it.
